FAQ

What’s your style?

I love natural and simple but love to incorporate unique ideas to my sessions. My editing style has always been more of a brighter tone for my newborn and maternity sessions but also depends on the setup and location.

What type of sessions do you photograph?

I specialize in newborn and maternity photography, but I also photograph milestone sessions and family sessions.

Where are you based?

My inhome studio is located in Azle, TX but I service the Tarrant and Parker County areas. People tend to travel to me from all over.

When should I book my newborn shoot?

The style of newborn photography that I do needs to be done ideally in the first 3 weeks after baby has been born. This will help to achieve those sleepy, curled up poses you can't help but love. Ideally if you can book your due date in a few months in advance to ensure I can get you in as typically my calendar is full for 2 months in advance. However if you stumble across my site and have just had your Bundle of Joy please contact me and I will always try my best to get you in.

When is the best time to do the Maternity shoot?

Maternity Photography is best done around 34 - 38 weeks that being said, when YOU would like to capture YOUR bump is all that matters. These photos are for you to cherish not anyone else and so I feel this is important to say.

Do you have a studio?

Yes! I have an in-home studio! I use a room in my home as my studio. My clients love my studio because it's a comfortable environment

What do I do once my baby is born?

Once your baby has arrived, the important thing to do is to contact me within 48 hours after the delivery so that I can have as much time as possible to schedule your session. When possible I like to aim for 5-7 days.

How long will the session take?

I never like to put a time limit on my sessions but depending on the package you choose plan to be at my studio for 2-3 hours so you will never feel rushed. These things take time and all babies are different, some are more sensitive to handling than others. This is all in the comfort of my beautiful studio and it has been known for my clients to take a snooze on the sofa during a shoot!

How do I prepare for my newborn photography session?

I will email you a set of guidelines before your shoot and if you were unsure about anything I would always be available by phone or email.

Do you take family or sibling photographs?

Yes. The style of my photography is very much inclusive of parents and siblings. This is what I love to capture the most. Those special moments between you and your new baby and partner. The special bond between siblings is the most beautiful thing to see and capture.

Can I print my images myself?

My packages include edited/re-touched images and a print release via digital download. I recommend printers to use to ensure the best quality prints from your images.

Do you have outfits for my baby?

Yes! I have a huge selection of outfits, wraps, headbands and bonnets for your baby to wear. You don’t need to bring ANYTHING!

How long after the shoot will my photos be ready to view?

I can’t wait to share them with you! Galleries are generally completed within 1.5 to 2 weeks.
